Reflection
The Digital Video assignment was one of the largest projects I worked on during the program. Getting students involved with the project proved to be a big challenge. I had many students interested at first but as the date approached of the taping, many of them backed out. The day of the shoot, a handful of students showed up and helped me out tremendously. I was able to use many of the techniques and principles learned in the class to establish scenes and find best angles for filming. The students definitely had their own take on things and invented many lines on the spot. I really enjoyed working with students in a different setting and found that many of them were able to express themselves' in ways that classroom work sessions or lectures just cannot do. I consider the video a total success and look forward to integrating many of the concepts I learned during it's production and editing into my classroom instruction and beyond.

Reflection
This was my very first experience with any video editing tool. I remember being extremely nervous about the voice over and how I would integrate the slides and transitions with my voice. I enjoyed learning how to edit the videos and really feel like this assignment served as a spring board into other video assignments. I know feel comfortable using video editing software and have even incorporated it into projects in my own classroom.

Reflection
I really enjoyed working with the 3rd graders in Mrs. Hughes' class for this project. I had honestly forgotten how much fun it is to work with silly children. They enjoyed learning about poetry and were very creative in their own expressions. The best part of the experience had to be seeing the students flip through books and look for poems that matched a certain figurative language style. I grew up reading Dr. Seuss and it was fun to see the kids find a love for poetry, and in turn, reading in general because of the unit. Seeing kids navigate the website and checkout the games and activities online helped enrich their understanding of poetry and instilled a genuine desire to read in some of the students.
